Stanwix Community Association
Notice of Meetings to All Members, Affiliates and Other Interested Parties
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) and follow on General Meeting will be held on Monday 30 November 2009 at Community Centre Buildings, Church Street, Stanwix, Carlisle, CA3 9DJ. The meetings will start promptly at 7.30pm.
The following resolutions will be proposed:
1. To receive and approve the Report & Financial Statements of the
Trustees and General Committee for the year ended 31 March 2009 and the
report of the Independent Reviewer.
2. To elect the officers of the Association until next year’s AGM.
3. To appoint an independent Reviewer until next year’s AGM.
The following resolution will be proposed:
1. To transfer, at book value with immediate effect, the entire
undertaking of the Charitable Association, including all assets,
liabilities, commitments and operations, to a new Charitable private
company limited by guarantee.
