I bet you usually think of Twitter as either another pointlessly fancy bit of Internet trickery, or else as something new fangled that can't possibly have any use. Well; as is the habit of new and simplistic (seeming) technologies, new uses are evolving at an incredible rate. One example of using Twitter to target a local audience as opposed to its global reach is explained on the Twitter's own blog. What can you do with 140 characters or less, the length of each tweet? A lot, restaurants are discovering - The post continues, linking to a newspaper article, explaining a range of pretty simple but nevertheless switched on uses that a variety of restaurants have put their tweets to. Might be well worth a look for the folks who own David's, Almonds, the Tandoori and the takeaway food outlets that are alongside the sit in restaurants. Twitter blog's restaurant revelations When you look at it, these days, there is a massive variety of ready cooked grub on the doorstep. In fact my belly is still basking in the warm glow of a Lamb Tikka Jalfrezi from the Stanwix Tandoori ... mmmmmm!
