Arrangements are gathering pace for the Great Stanwix Auction of Promises .  The band is booked and  there will be a mini auction at Stanwix School's Christmas Fayre on the 27th November.  Offers of services to be auctioned and goodies are starting to come in steadily. 

 The article in this week's Cumberland News will have raised the event's profile considerably.  

All you need to do now readers, is get as many people as possible through the doors of the Eden Suite at the Sands Centre on December 5th who are willing to have their services auctioned, or are hungry to buy into their neighbour's offers.
