The No 1 Guest House is on the line of the ancient Hadrian's Wall, but with very modern 4 star facilities. From No 1 it is only a ten minute walk across Eden Bridge to access the centre of the City; its historic attractions and the modern vibrant shopping centre.
Carlisle Castle and the Cathedral have 900 years of turbulent history to enlighten you with. The Sands Centre is just across the bridge, 5 minutes from No 1, and provides leisure, fitness and entertainment facilities. Carlisle City Centre is one of the more compact, leisurely and beautiful cities you could wish to visit. No 1 is very close (3 minute walk) to the Brampton Road Campus, of the University of Cumbria and within easy reach of Kingstown Industrial Estate. No 1 is close to the Scottish Borders, yet within easy reach of the Lake District.Our prices are per person per night and include Full English Breakfast. All of No 1's rooms are en-suite and have power showers.
